Victoria Street is an iconic street in Stellenbosch, flanked by triple avenues of majestic Plane trees. Planning Partners, who have been working as Landscape Architects for the University for over 16 years, were appointed to design, specify, and oversee the implementation of a flagship NMT facility, catering for bicycles, pedestrians and provide safe, universal access for students with sight challenges.

Victoria Street’s existing asphalt sidewalk was destroyed during underground services upgrades. Works commenced in early 2020, and has just been completed. Soft landscape implementation to follow in winter of 2021.
